Privacy Policy

Our promise: Balls24/7 does not sell or rent personal data, display behavioral advertising, or share personal data with data brokers.
Information we process
We process information you provide or authorize so the app can work: email address, account identifier, display name, family membership, profile photo, family messages, precise location, location accuracy, battery percentage, device push token, and subscription status.
How we use information
- Authenticate and secure accounts.
- Show a member's last shared location to their chosen family group.
- Deliver family messages and generic message notifications.
- Operate subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and comply with law.
Location
Balls24/7 stores one latest-location record per participating account and overwrites it when a newer location is shared. We do not create a historical route or movement database. A member can pause sharing at any time; pausing stops background updates and deletes that member's last stored location.
Service providers
We use limited service providers to operate the app: Supabase for authentication, database, realtime features, and private file storage; Mapbox for map display; Expo and Apple Push Notification service for notifications; and Apple for App Store purchases. Optional Mapbox telemetry is disabled in Balls24/7. Providers may process technical information required to deliver and secure their services under their respective terms.
Sharing
Information is shared with members of the family group a user intentionally joins and with the service providers described above. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service. We do not disclose personal data for third-party advertising.
Retention and deletion
The latest location remains until replaced, sharing is paused, or the account is deleted. Messages remain while the associated family and accounts exist. Push tokens remain while a device is registered. Users can permanently delete their account inside Settings; deletion removes the account and associated profile, location, photo, messages, and membership. Deleting a family-owner account also deletes that family.
Security
We use encrypted network connections, row-level access rules, private file storage, short-lived image links, and restricted administrative access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Balls24/7 is not directed to children under 13 acting independently. A parent or legal guardian must authorize and supervise any use involving a child and ensure everyone being located understands the sharing arrangement.
Your choices
Users can deny system permissions, pause location sharing, sign out, and delete their account. Privacy questions or requests may be sent to privacy@balls24-7.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-app notice.
